DFX ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTOR SERIES by Dakota Ultrasonics covers the range of ultrasonic inspection applications. With four models, the DFX Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors are portable, multi-function, digital ultrasonic scopes suitable for field or lab use.
All DFX Flaw Detectors are single-channel, ultrasonic digital detectors using angle-beam technology transducers for fast and accurate measurements.

DFX 615 - basic Ultrasonic Flaw detector, wide band only; Test range: 0-.2 up to 0 – 400 in. at steel velocity
DFX625 -same test range as 615; 4 - narrow band filters built in; AWS built in.
DFX 635 - 6 narrow bands; built-in pulse boost, two fully independent gates both with positive and negative triggering; test range 0-.05 up to 0-800 in. at steel velocity; signal monitor mode; square wave pulser; PRF 5000 Hz, 5Hz steps
DFX 638 -same features as DFX 635 above, plus: Interface Trigger – locks to surface echo and eliminates water-path variation. - optional immersion probe
