The PosiTector 6000 Electronic Dry Film Thickness Gauges for measuring Coating Thickness on all metal substrates now has more advanced features making it faster, smarter, and more versatile. PosiTector 6000 has a new design for better and easier handling, faster and more convenient menu selection. Now paperless, the new PosiTector 6000 requires no software; readings are stored in the gauge, browsed using your computer's file explorer, and can be downloaded to computer or uploaded to PosiTector.net web-based application via USB. PosiTector Universal Gauge body, available in Standard and Advanced models, can now accept any PosiTector 6000, PosiTector Dew Point Meter, or PosiTector Surface Profile Gauge probes. The Advanced PosiTector 6000 are now WIFI enabled to communicate with any wireless device to download readings and reports, or upload photos.

DeFelsko announces their Newly Re-designed PosiTector 200 Coating Thickness Gauge for concrete, wood, and other non-metal substrates. PosiTector 200 uses ultrasoound technology to non-destructively measure coating thickness on a variety of non-metal substrates, including wood, concrete, and plastics. The New PosiTector 200 comes in Standard or Advanced gauge models, with a choice of three measuring ranges, including the new 200D-probe for soft, thick coatings like polyurea (up to 200 mils), asphaltic neoprene, or thick polymers from 2 to 300 mils thickness.

Probes for DeFelsko's PosiTector 6000 Dry Film Coating Thickness Gauge come in a variety of styles and models to accommodate different metals, coating types and thickness, and small or difficult-to-reach places. All separate probes are fully interchangeable on both Standard and Advanced models of PosiTector 6000 gauges. Ferrous, non-ferrous, or ferrous/non-ferrous probes in integrated or separate (cable) probes, micro-probes for very small surfaces or tight spaces, high yield coating thicknesses (up to 500 mils), and the new FHXS Xtreme high-temperature probe for measuring up to 300 mils on steel up to 250 degrees C or 500 degrees fahrenheit.
