The PosiTector 6000 Electronic Dry Film Thickness Gauges for measuring Coating Thickness on all metal substrates now has more advanced features making it faster, smarter, and more versatile. PosiTector 6000 has a new design for better and easier handling, faster and more convenient menu selection. Now paperless, the new PosiTector 6000 requires no software; readings are stored in the gauge, browsed using your computer's file explorer, and can be downloaded to computer or uploaded to PosiTector.net web-based application via USB. PosiTector 200 uses ultrasoound technology to non-destructively measure coating thickness on a variety of non-metal substrates, including wood, concrete, and plastics. All separate probes are fully interchangeable on both Standard and Advanced models of PosiTector 6000 gauges. Ferrous, non-ferrous, or ferrous/non-ferrous probes in integrated or separate (cable) probes, micro-probes for very small surfaces or tight spaces, high yield coating thicknesses (up to 500 mils), and the new FHXS Xtreme high-temperature probe for measuring up to 300 mils on steel up to 250 degrees C or 500 degrees fahrenheit.
