PCWI Compact DC High Voltage Porosity Detector detects pinholes, air bubbles, and porosity in non-conductive coatings on conductive substrates, including steel and concrete. Available in two voltage ranges: DC 15 (to 15kV) or DC 30 (30kV), PCWI DC High Voltage Porosity Detectors are ideal for use on storage tanks, valves, structural members, and pipelines. Light-weight, hand-held Porosity Detectors come with a full range of internal and external brush options, as well as flat brushes and pipeline coils from 2" to 56 inches in diameter. Custom sizes available by special order.

PCWI Compact Pulse High-voltage Porosity Detector with regulated pulsed output for detection of porosity - bubbles, pinholes, 'holidays' - in dielectric coatings on conductive substrates, including concrete. Ideal for moist conditions, wet or contaminated coatings, or coatings likely to become electro-statically charged, the PCWI Pulse High-voltage Porosity Detector is available in three voltage models: P20 (0 - 20 kV) and P40 (0 - 40 kV) for carbon-impregnated coatings including carbonated rubber, or thick coatings such as rubber linings, and the Pulse 50 (0 - 50 kV) for use on Rubber Coatings only.
Industry names for Porosity Detectors include: jeepers, spark testers, holiday detectors, pinhole testers.
