 | | Bacharach Sling Psychrometer
The Bacharach Sling Psychrometer contains a slide rule for calculating relative humidity from wet and dry bulb temperature measurement. The built-in water reservoir holds enough water for several hours of testing. Thermometers are constructed of shock-resistant glass with etched numerals and 1* scale divisions.
The Sling Psychrometer is used by filling the water reservoire to wet the wick over the wet-bulb temperature thermometer, and whirling the psychrometer around in the open air. Wet bulb temperature and dry bulb temperature are measured and used to calculate relative humidity. Dewpoint can then be calculated from the temperature and humidity values.
Bacharach Sling Psychrometers have +/- 5% accuracy R.H.
