Chlor*Test C Chloride Ion Test Kit for Concrete

Detect and measure chlorides in concrete. Chloride penetration into concrete frequently causes corrosion of rebar and other steel, and can result in early coating failure. Chlor*Test "C" Chloride ionTest for Concrete is the only field test kit for measuring chlorides in concrete; no experience is necessary.

To measure chlorides in concrete, collect the concrete sample in the supplied measuring spoon. Shake the concrete sample in a vial of Chlor*Extract, filter the solids from the sample, and measure the chloride ions dissolved in the sample liquid. Reliable results are achieved in just a few minutes.

Cross contamination, from test to test, is eliminated through one time use of individual components. The components are pre-measured to ensure accurate results in parts per million. No temperature correction is needed between 41 to 176ºF.

ChlorTest C is available in 4-test packages, with everything required to test for chlorides in concrete.
