Calibration Shims

Calibration Shims are used to check calibration of digital coating thickness gauges. PCWI Certified Calibration Films come in sets of 6 certified films. Our standard sets are: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40 mils, but sets of Certified Shims are available in various thickness from 2 microns to 12,500 microns (~.07 mils - ~ 490 mils) according to customer requirements.
We also offer sets of 5 working shims (non-calibrated) for field-checking digital coating thickness gauges.
Please note: Calibration shims are not suitable for checking mechanical coating thickness gauges
