ChlorTest Kit

ChlorTest Kit contains everything needed for simple and accurate measurement of chlorides on surfaces. ChlorTest gives values in both parts per million and micrograms per centimetre squared. Salt contamination on surfaces leads to coating failure of applied protective coatings, as well as more rapid deterioration of the surface beneath the coating. Detection of soluble salts prior to coatings application means surfaces can be cleaned to remove salt contamination, improving coating life, and greatly reducing degradation of the substrate. The ChlorTest Kit was developed by ChlorRid for ease of use, and to prevent outside and cross-contamination. Components are pre-measured to ensure accurate results, and require no temperature correction between 41 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. The ChlorTest Kit works on surfaces at any angle, including vertical or over-head structures. ChlorTest Kit for surfaces contains 5 complete Tests per Kit.
