ANNOUNCING: DeFelsko's NEW PosiTector PC Powder Checker.

The PosiTector PC Powder Checker is DeFelsko's new technology for non-contact measurement of Uncured Powder Coatings. The PC Powder Checker is a two-part measuring system:  the Powder Checker probe measures uncured powder thickness using ultrasound technology. Measurements are transmitted to the PosiTector gauge body, which automatically calculates the predicted cured coating thickness. On-board storage of coating thickness measurements downloads via USB connection to computer; no software is required.

PC Powder Checker has no wires to drag through applied powder; the measuring probe communicates data to the PosiTector gauge body via Bluetooth technology at distances of up to 30 feet (10 meters), which means the gauge can be set out of the spray area on a surface or wall-mounted. Each probe identifies with only one gauge; large powder shops can operate more than one PC Powder Checker without fear of multiple probes communicating data to the wrong gauge bodies. Measure uncured powder coatings of .8 to 4.3 mils (cured thickness) easily with the new PosiTector PC Powder Checker.
