DeFelsko PosiTest DFT Coating Thickness Gauge
PosiTest DFT Coating Thickness Gauge by DeFelsko is an economical and user-friendly electronic coating thickness gauge for measuring dry film thicknesses on all metal substrates. PosiTest DFT comes in TWO MODELS:
PosiTest DFT Ferrous for measuring non-magnetic coatings on steel or other magnetic metals.
PosiTest DFT Combo for measuring non-magnetic coatings on steel, and non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous substrates including aluminum, and stainless steel. PosiTest DFT automatically recognizes the substrate, and measures the coating thickness.
PosiTest DFT is the ideal Automotive Paint Gauge. Small and easy to use, PosiTest DFT measures paint thickness up to 40 mils on new or pre-owned automobiles, making it easy to identify collision damage or refinish work. PosiTest DFT is also ideal for welding or blast shops, and for powder coaters.
The PosiTest DFT features flip-display for right-side-up readings when held in any position. (see video here: http://www.defelsko.com/dft/dft-flip.html) PosiTest DFT is supplied with a hard, glasses-style protective case that fits in most shirt pocketsand a handy wrist-strap. PosiTest DFT now comes with DeFelsko's long-form certificate of calibration traceable to NIST.
