PCWI Certified Coating Thickness Standards

PCWI CERTIFIED COATING THICKNESS STANDARDS are used to confirm the accuracy of digital and mechanical coating thickness gauges. Calibration Standards are available in ferrous or non-ferrous bases in sets of four epoxy-coated metal plates and one zero plate, mounted in a protective leatherette folder. Certification for the Coating Thickness Standards is provided by PCWI, and traceable to national and international standards via NMIA and NIST.

Certified Metal Calibration Plates show both imperial and metric thickness values, and are available with coating thicknesses from 6 µm (~.5 mil) to 12500 µm (~490 mils). Several standard sets are available with either steel plates to verify magnetic pull-off or ferrous electronic paint thickness gauges or aluminum plates for non-ferrous probes. PCWI-branded Calibration Standards are special-ordered, permitting custom selection of thickness values.

Standardized Sets of PCWI Certified Coating Thickness Standards
