PCWI Compact Pulsed Holiday Detector

Coating flaws such as pinholes, bubbles, or porosity, cause coating failure as moisture or contaminants breach the coating down to the substrate. The PCWI COMPACT PULSED HIGH VOLTAGE HOLIDAY DETECTOR is a light-weight, portable unit for detection of holidays in dielectric coatings on conductive substrates.

Designed for use in moist conditions, on wet or contaminated coating surfaces, on carbon-impregnated coatings (ie: carbonated rubber), and on plastic or fibreglass-type coatings likely to become electrostatically charged, the PCWI Pulsed High Voltage Holiday Detectors come in three models: P20 (2 - 20kV), P40 (5 - 40kV), and the PCWI P50, which was designed specifically for use with Rubber Coatings.

PCWI's Pulsed Holiday Detector provides regulated pulsed output which is fully adjustable across the range of the meter, providing accurate, precise voltage output for all coating thicknesses where high-voltage testing is appropriate. High voltage holiday detectors are also referred to as 'spark testers' or 'jeepers'.

High Voltage Pulse Industrial Kit includes: P20, P40 or P50 Pulse High-Voltage Holiday Detector with clip-on power pack, 10hr. charger, probe handle with 2m lead, 60mm connector for flat brushes, 7m ground lead with clamp, fan brush, 250mm flat brass wire brush, 450mm probe extension, air-operated earphones, shoulder & waist harness, kit case, operating instructions with conformance certificate.

High Voltage Pulse Pipeline Kit contains: P20 or P40 Pulse High-Voltage Holiday Detector with clip-on power pack, spare clip-on battery pack, 10hr charger, probe handle with 2m lead, 7m ground lead with clamp, fan brush, coil joiner with 450mm connector, air-operated earphones, shoulder & waist harness, kit case, operating instructions with conformance certificate. *Please specify voltage range: 20kV, 40kV. Note: Pulse 50 is not available in the pipeline kit; P50 is not suitable for pipe inspection.
