Concrete Encounter CME 4 by Tramex measures moisture content of set concrete without boring holes or driving nails. Parallel co-planer electrodes mounted on the base transmit low-frequency signals into set concrete to an approximate depth of 1/2 inch (12.5mm).
Calibrated on acceptably dry concrete, the Concrete Encounter CME 4 compares the change in impedance caused by the presence of moisture.
