DeFelsko PosiTector Universal Gauge Body

The New PosiTector Universal Gauge Body from DeFelsko allows the  Coatings Inspector the convenience of three coatings inspection gauges in one. One PosiTector Universal Gauge can accept every probe for the PosiTector 6000-series Coating Thickness Gauge, the PosiTector DPM Dew Point Meter, and the new PosiTector SPG Surface Profile Gage. Simply power-off the gauge and change probes. The Gauge Body recognizes the probe and operates the function required.

Every PosiTector Universal Body is designed to endure the rugged environments of real coatings inspection job sites. Ease of use features include one-handed menu operation, large, easy-to-read LCD graphics, flip display to permit right-side-up reading regardless of gauge position, and high-contrast backlit display for bright or dark work environments. All Universal PosiTector Gauge Bodies also have an USB port for connection to computer for download or continuous power supply, USB-mass storage, and the option of rechargeable batteries.

This new Universal Gauge Body comes in two models: Standard and Advanced. The Standard body will store up to 250 readings for each of Coating Thickness or Surface Profile measurements, or 2500 data sets for the Dewpoint Meter function. To change function with the Standard PosiTector body, download any stored readings, power-off the gauge, and replace the current probe with the probe you next require.

The Advanced PosiTector Body has a high-contrast, reversible colour display with on-screen help, real-time graphing, picture prompts and batch notes. To change functions with the Advanced PosiTector body, simply power the gauge down and change probes. All readings up to the gauge capacity will be stored for later access. The PosiTector Advanced now also includes an on-screen QWERTY keyboard to permit the inspector to change batch names and add notes on the gauge screen.
