Measurement of Surface Profile of Blasted Steel is necessary to ensure adequate Blast Profile for Coatings Adhesion. The Testex Kit contains everything required for testing Surface Profile, in a plastic case. Testex Tape is compressed against the Blasted Surface, taking on the impression or replica of the Blast Profile, which is then measured using the Testex Gauge, which is specifically designed for this application. Testex provides a permanent record of Surface Profile, making it possible to ensure conformance to specifications for Steel Preparation prior to Coatings Application.
Each Testex Kit includes:
- Testex Tape: 1 roll ea. coarse & extra-coarse
- 1 dial thickness gauge
- 1 burnishing tool
- 1 training surface
- complete instructions for use
